Learning outcomes
Know the types and classes of groundwater by accumulation, types of hydrogeological reservoirs; fundamental differences between hydrogeological structures of different types; main aquifers and regional aquicludes of hydrogeological structures of Ukraine; characteristic features of water exchange in these structures and between neighboring structures. Be able to read and describe regional hydrogeological maps, distinguish hydrogeological sections according to the main structures of Ukraine.

To have knowledge of hydrogeology, general geology
Course content
Students will get acquainted with the patterns of accumulation of natural resources of groundwater in typical hydrogeological structures and regional structures
Ukraine; with the principles of zoning, the history of the development of hydrogeological structures; features of zoning, water exchange, formation of the qualitative composition of groundwater

Lectures, practical classes, independent work of students
Assessment methods and criteria
The control involves the implementation of practical work and 2 written tests. The final assessment is conducted in the form of a written and oral exam. The results of students' learning activities are evaluated on a 100-point scale. A student is not allowed to take the final grade if he/she scored less than 20 points during the semester. During the semester the student can score from 36 to 60 points. During the exam the student can get from 24 to 40 points
