The program is based on the fact that teaching English in the Free Economic Zone begins with the language level A2 according to CEFR and ends with a final exam, focused in its requirements on the language level B1 + according to CEFR.
Course content
The discipline "English" for students of the Institute of Geology is part of the educational and professional training program for the educational qualification level "Bachelor" specialty 193 "Geodesy and Land Management", and is a normative discipline. The course is taught as ESP ("Foreign language for professional purposes") in I-VII semesters with the basics of academic English (Academic English) in V-VI semesters in the amount of 510 hours. and covers a wide range of general scientific, professionally-oriented and highly specialized topics based on the vocabulary and terminology of the natural science cycle and narrow specialization in the specialty 193 "Geodesy and Land Management".

Assessment methods and criteria
The course provides 7 content modules, 21 final tests; 7 modular tests, 7 final presentations. The discipline is completed in the I, III, V semesters of the PC (intermediate control); in the II, VII semesters - exam; in the IV semester - credit. The learning model is modular, cyclical and thematic.
