Learning outcomes
Know the features of the formation and assessment of operational reserves of groundwater in typical and specific hydrogeological conditions; be able to assess the impact of groundwater exploitation on the environment. Be able to choose methods for estimating the operational reserves of groundwater depending on hydrogeological conditions; to conduct exploration of groundwater deposits.

Have knowledge of general hydrogeology, hydrology and geology, groundwater dynamics, assessment of groundwater reserves
Course content
Students are acquainted with the principles and features of typing of groundwater deposits, the principles of formation of deposits by the complexity of hydrogeological conditions, features of ERG assessment in specific conditions of their selection and use, as well as mathematical modeling, its advantages and disadvantages in assessing groundwater reserves

Lectures, practical classes, independent work of students
Assessment methods and criteria
The control involves the implementation of practical work and 2 written tests. The final assessment is conducted in the form of a written and oral exam. The results of students' learning activities are evaluated on a 100-point scale. A student is not allowed to take the final grade if he / she scored less than 20 points during the semester. During the semester the student can score from 36 to 60 points. During the exam the student can get from 24 to 40 points
