To know the basic mathematical methods and software used in hydrogeology and engineering geology. To be able to choose and use the optimal set of mathematical methods to perform a scientific or practical task

The knowledge of hydrogeological and engineering geological modeling is requred
Course content
Students systematize knowledge of basic mathematical methods and software used in hydrogeology and engineering geology, gain practical skills in the use of mathematical methods in performing scientific and practical tasks, learn to quantify the reliability of the data obtained

Lectures, seminars, independent work of students
Assessment methods and criteria
The control involves the performance of individual works in seminars and 2 written tests. The final assessment is conducted in the form of a written and oral exam. The results of students' learning activities are evaluated on a 100-point scale. A student is not allowed to take the final grade if he / she scored less than 20 points during the semester. During the semester the student can score from 36 to 60 points. During the exam the student can get from 24 to 40 points
