To know the role of lithosphere in the formation of most regional environmental problems, ecological functions of lithosphere; normative-methodological support of environmental al and geological research and monitoring of geological environment; basics of geological environment monitoring methods. To be able to determine the ecological condition of the geological environment; to organize a team development for the effective solution of the assigned task

Students will become familiar with the theoretical foundations of environmental geology; understand the place and role of environmental geology among other geological sciences; study the natural conditions and anthropogenic factors that form the ecological condition of the geological environment; learn the basics of environmental geological research and monitoring of the geological environment

Assessment methods and criteria
Control involves the performance of individual works in the form of presentations in the seminars and two written control works. The final assessment is carried out in the form of a written oral exam. The results of students' learning activities are evaluated on a 100-point scale. A student is not allowed to the final assessment, if during the semester he gained less than 20 points. During a semester, a student can score from 36 to 60 points. During the exam a student can get from 24 to 40 points
