PLO01. Know, analyze, purposefully search for and select the necessary information and reference resources and knowledge to solve professional problems, taking into account modern advances in science and technology. PLO05. Know and apply relevant mathematical concepts, methods of domain, system and object-oriented analysis and mathematical modeling for software development. PLO08. Be able to develop a human-machine interface. PLO10. Conduct a pre-project survey of the subject area, systematic analysis of the design object. PLO14. Apply in practice the tools of domain analysis, design, testing, visualization, measurement and documentation of software.

Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to study the principles of computer networks. As a result of studying the discipline, the student must: know the basic stages of development and formation of computer networks; know the principles of local, corporate and global computer networks; know the tools of working with networks; network protocols, services and services; be able to design and build computer networks at different levels; be able to assess the effectiveness of the implementation and implementation of computer networks; be able to configure the operation of network equipment, basic protocols, services and network services; be able to use computer networks for processing and analysis of information; substantiate their own view of the problem, communicate with colleagues on the use, design and deployment of computer networks, compile written reports; organize their independent work to achieve results; to be responsible for the work performed, to be responsible for their quality.

Assessment methods and criteria
7th semester – credit. The maximum number of points that can be obtained by a student during the semester – 100/60 points. 8th semester – exam. The maximum number of points that can be obtained by a student during the semester – 60/36 points. Final assessment (in the form of an exam): 1. Maximum number of points: 40 points. 2. Learning outcomes to be evaluated: РН1.3, РН1.4, РН2.3, РН2.4. 3. Form of conducting and types of tasks: written work. 4. Types of tasks: 40 written test tasks.
