Learning outcomes
Know the basic tasks of decision-making (multicriteria optimization, in conditions of uncertainty, in conditions of conflict (game), in terms of fuzzy information). Know the basic definitions, formulas, concepts and provisions, approaches to decision-making in conditions of certainty, uncertainty, conflict and vague information. Be able to apply methods of finding: Pareto optimal alternatives in multicriteria optimization problems, solutions of decision-making problems in conditions of uncertainty, cautious strategies and balances in games, solutions of decision-making problems in conditions of fuzzy information. Be able to use models of decision-making in conditions of certainty, uncertainty, conflict and vague information to solve practical problems.
Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the basic concepts of mathematical analysis, algebra and geometry, discrete mathematics, probability theory, operations research. Be able to solve typical problems from these courses. Have basic skills: solve operations research problems. To access the discipline "Decision Theory" of the educational-professional program "Systems Analysis", the student must master the competencies and learning outcomes provided by the disciplines "Discrete Mathematics", "Operations Research". The discipline "Decision Theory" is the basis for mastering the disciplines "Game Theory" and "Conflict-Based Systems".
Course content
Compulsory discipline "Decision Theory" is part of the educational and professional training program for the first (Bachelor's) level of higher education in the field of knowledge 12 "Information Technology" in the specialty 124 - "Systems Analysis", educational and professional program - "Systems Analysis". It is taught in the 5th semester of the 3rd year in the amount of 90 hours. (3 ECTS credits), in particular: lectures - 28 hours, laboratory - 14 hours, independent work - 48 hours. The course includes 2 parts and 2 tests. The discipline ends with a test in the 5th semester.
