LO06. Know: software lifecycle models; software tools for information systems development; algorithms for solving relevant problems in the field of informatics and software engineering. LO13. Be able to: summarize domestic and foreign experience in the field of computer technology using modern research methods; make the right decisions in the process of developing information systems; work with professional literature; apply modern technologies; process and analyze the results.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know: stages of the software life cycle and principles of software design. 2. Be able to: apply in practice software tools for software design and development; Apply in practice theoretical knowledge and methods of information systems development, current issues of object-oriented programming. 3. Have basic skills: basic programming, development and maintenance of databases and knowledge bases, the use of tools for design and software development.
Course content
The course work is a component of the educational-scientific program of training specialists for the first (bachelor's) level of higher education within the educational-professional program "Software Engineering". The purpose of the discipline is to systematize, consolidate and expand students' theoretical and practical knowledge, as well as their application in solving specific professional problems; Development of skills of independent work; Mastering research methods and other forms of work; Educating the need to systematically update knowledge and creatively apply them in practice.

Final assessment (in the form of differentiated credit): - Relevance of the topic: 10 points. - Elaboration and use of scientific literature: 15 points. - Substantiation of research methodology: 10 points. - Analysis and interpretation of the results: 30 points. - Correspondence of conclusions to research tasks: 5 points. - Structure of work: 5 points. - Literacy: 5 points. - Quality of work design: 5 points. - Systematic performance of work: 15 points. The evaluation is carried out by a commission, which must include a supervisor and a guarantor of the educational program
