Learning outcomes
A student must know the philosophical foundations of science research; concepts of scientific method and methodology, basic methods of scientific research; known methodological systems and models; the main components of the system of intellectual property law in Ukraine; acquisition algorithm (emergence) of legal protection of various intellectual property objects; rights and obligations of owners protective documents for intellectual property rights property; ways of disposing of the right to objects of law intellectual property. The student must be able to distinguish between science as a system of knowledge, a social institution and research activity; understand the role of the scientific community for the functioning of science; determine the issue of intellectual property in the norms of the legislation of Ukraine.

Successful mastering of "Philosophy" courses, Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of the professional discipline Ability to work with literature and abstracting skills.
Course content
The educational discipline "Methodology and organization of scientific research with the basics of intellectual property" is a mandatory discipline. It ensures the assimilation of methodological and legal tools for scientific activity. Scientific activity is considered from the point of view general-philosophical methods of cognition in combination with the methodological features of a certain scientific field, as well as with the norms of intellectual law, which requires familiarization with the methods of searching and correct use of scientific information.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminar classes, independent work.
Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment: there are two academic semesters content modules. Since the performance of independent work fully covers the verification of the assimilation of the lecture material, control work is not carried out. The overall evaluation during the semesters is carried out based on the sum of the results of seminar works. The final evaluation is in the form of a credit, the form of the exam is a credit - a computer test. (rated from 0 to 40 points). The condition for achieving a positive grade for a discipline is to obtain a total of points (for the semester assessment and crediting together) of at least 60 points, while the grade for the final assessment cannot be less than 24 points.
