The educational discipline is based on the disciplines "General Physics", "Mathematical Analysis", "Analytic Geometry and Linear Algebra", "Differential equations", "Electrodynamics", "Quantum mechanics", etc.Prerequisites:the student must know: the basics of mathematical and physical disciplines at the graduate level bachelor's degree of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University. the student must be able to: work with scientific literature, analyze analytically the results of the received information.
Course content
Intellectual activity is gaining priority all over the world. World experience shows that it is intellectual activity and its result - intellectual property - that is the driving force modern development of society. Achieving the set goal does not lie only in the legal and economic plane. Therefore, the main task of the course "Patenting of scientific development" is a combination of physical and mathematical knowledge and engineering and technical skills of students, of future specialists in radiophysics, with the basics of protecting objects of industrial property, copyright and related law; in the development of their skills to use patent and license documentation for scientific research and in the acquisition of general skills of patent search, design of materials applications for the protection of self-created intellectual property. The combination is logical lecture material on the basics of working with intellectual property objects and practical classes and independent work. During the practical sessions of the course, students will develop practical skills, received during the completion of the bachelor's final qualifying work, and will study use patent and license documentation for scientific research during production practices and when completing a master's thesis.
