Learning outcomes
PRN11. Carry out scientific analysis of the Slavic language, speech and
literary material, interpret and structure it taking into account the classical and
the latest methodological principles, to formulate generalizations on the basis of independently
processed data.
PRN13. It is accessible and reasoned to explain the essence of specific philological issues,
own point of view on them and its substantiation both to experts, and to the general public, in particular
students.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
- Know the main stages of the history of Croatian literature, the periodization scale of history
culture of the Slavic and European region, the conceptual basis of the category "context".
- Be able to creatively apply the knowledge and methods of activity learned during the study
academic disciplines; have initial experience in conducting scientific and methodological work,
research and experimental forms of culturological activity; plan and evaluate
own work.
- Have basic research and management skills
information; critical attitude to the analyzed phenomena; use of foreign languages
professional information sources.
Course content
A generalized analytical review of the history of the development of Croatian literature in general
in the context of Slavic and wider, European culture: the foundations of theoretical principles
culturology, the main stages of cultural evolution from the standpoint of Eurocentrism, principles
classification of cultural facts, structure of culture, the relationship of culture and literature as
its systemic component, the main features of the state of development of Croatian literature
context of Slavic culture in different historical periods. Fundamental milestones of history
Slavic and European culture, certification of the facts of the development of Croatian
literature in the system of Slavic culture, the separation of their contextual motivation in
diachronic and synchronous measurements.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures and practical classes, independent work, credit.
Assessment methods and criteria
During the semester, after lectures on relevant topics, practical ones are held
classes, which are evaluated in accordance with the planned types of work.
Assessment of semester work: 1. Oral answer, additions, participation in discussions on
lectures and seminars, blitz polls, tests: 45/65 points. 2. Presentation: 11/15 points. (10
points for training + 5 points for defense). Presentations are published by students for later
last lecture week.
The semester final grade is formed by the points received by the student in the course of performance
specified types and forms of education and obtained in the exam. Maximum distribution
carried out according to the following algorithm: 80 points (0%) - semester control and 20 points
(20%) - credit.
