Learning outcomes
The student must know: Router configuration principle. Advantage and disadvantage of dynamic routing protocols. Features of the use of routers in the network. Difference between routers and L3 switches. Methods of the network gateway backup. Features of external routing protocols.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
The discipline "Computer Networks" is based on a series of disciplines of professional and practical training, in particular, “Computer Networks”,"Discrete Mathematics", "Fundamentals of hardware and software".
Course content
Method of routing in computer networks. RIP routing protocol. OSPF routing protocol. EIGRP routing protocol. Exterior routing protocol BGP. NAT configuration in a router. Route aggregation and filter. Route redistribution between routing protocol.

Assessment methods and criteria
The form of assessment is written. The written work consists of a test, questions are evaluated according to coefficients depending on their complexity. In total, students can get from 0 to 40 points for the credit. A condition for achieving a positive grade for a discipline is to obtain at least 60 points, the grade for credit cannot be less than 24 points.
