Learning outcomes
- Be able to find sound solutions when compiling structural, functional and schematic diagrams of information and measuring equipment - Free to own the terminological base of the specialty, understand the scientific and technical documentation of the state metrological system of Ukraine, international and interstate recommendations and guidelines - Understand the relationship of optics, laser physics and metrology with other natural and engineering sciences, be familiar with some basic concepts of applied physics, materials science, engineering, as well as with individual objects (technological processes) and natural phenomena that are the subject of research in other sciences.
Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the basic principles of elementary geometry and stereometry, the basics of orthogonal projection, basic rules of technical drawings 2. Be able to perform drawings of simple geometric objects and sketches of simple details 3. Have basic skills of elementary drawing.
Course content
The first part of the course - descriptive geometry - studies the geometric properties of spatial objects without the use of formulas and calculations, but only with the help of constructions and measurements in drawings obtained by projecting objects on a plane. The second part - technical drawing - is designed to provide students with knowledge and skills of execution and reading of technical drawings, sketching details, compiling design and technical documentation of production.
