Know the diagnostic methods studied in this course and examples where they can be used to determine the characteristics of the atomic structure of nanoobjects in different structures: on the surface, in volume, etc.
Be able to choose options for experimental research that will reveal the essential features of the atomic structure of nanoobjects
Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the methods of obtaining nanopowders, films and nanostructured compact materials, basics of solid state physics, quantum theory of solids, areas of application and requirements for the parameters of nanoobjects and nanosystems.
Be able to apply knowledge from the courses of mathematical analysis, differential and integral equations, electrodynamics, statistical physics, quantum mechanics.
Have knowledge of the basic physical properties of nanosystems and features of the atomic structure that explain them.
Course content
The course "Diagnosis of nanosystems" considers methods of experimental study of the atomic structure of nanosystems and the processes that occur during its formation. The purpose of studying the discipline - to acquaint students with modern advances in physics and devices built on their basis, which will investigate the atomic structure of matter, which determines certain properties of materials.
