Course content
The discipline "Molecular physics" is a normative educational discipline from the cycle of fundamental and natural science training, and is the basis of the basic training of physicists of the educational qualification levels "bachelor", "specialist", "master". It is based on the knowledge gained by students in the courses "Mechanics" and "Mathematical Analysis". In turn, it is the basis for the study of many disciplines, such as "physics of phase transitions", "thermodynamics of non-equilibrium systems", "statistical physics and thermodynamics", "fundamentals of molecular biology", "physics of polymers and biopolymers".

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The total volume is 180 hours. , including: Lectures – 44 hours. Practical classes - 46 hours. Independent work - 89 hours.
Assessment methods and criteria
Evaluation is based on 100-point scale. Completion of all laboratory work is a mandatory condition for admission to the exam. Forms of current control: assessment of performance and protection of laboratory work, homework and independent tasks, control works. When assigning points for modular control, the following are taken into account: quality of execution and design of laboratory work; knowledge and understanding of the material of the relevant topic when defending each laboratory work; ability and skills to solve physical problems for each topic; the degree of student activity in the performance and defense of laboratory work.
Assessment is carried out according to the following scheme:
The first module: homework for practical classes, work on them, control work in practical classes 20 points.
The second module: participation in colloquia 20 points
The third module: doing homework for practical classes, working on them. Final test-20 points.
Final test 40 points.
