Prerequisites and co-requisites
To know the foundations of the structure of the psyche, factors and basic mechanisms of personality formation. To have the skills of professional communication.
Course content
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with content, tasks and methods of psychology of higher education as a discipline and branch of science, to provide general theoretical training, as well as the development of modern psychological technologies of effective educational activities in the institution of higher education. There are 2 content parts, the course finishes with end-of –the term test. The content of the course reveals the psychological bases of the educational process in the institution of higher education, age and individual-psychological features of a student as a subject of educational and professional activity and development of a student group, psychological laws of pedagogical interaction. A special attention is paid to consciously mastering of professional-pedagogical skills and practices.

Lectures, independent work (essays, presentations, practical tasks), spoken replies, participation in discussions, modular tests
Assessment methods and criteria
The final score from the course (minimum 60, maximum 100 points) consists of the amount of credits for semester work (minimum 48, maximum 80 points) and a final control test (at least 12, a maximum of 20 points). The end of the term test is counted on the results of the student's work throughout the semester and does not involve additional evaluation measures.
The students, who receive less than 60 points till the end of the semester, but more than a critical- minimum - 40 points, they can pass the final control test
