Learning outcomes
Deeply understand the basic facts, concepts, principles and theories related to the subject area mastered during the master's program, use them to solve complex problems and problems, as well as conduct research in the relevant field of chemistry. Apply the acquired knowledge and understanding to solve new qualitative and quantitative problems of chemistry. Collect, evaluate, and analyze the data needed to solve complex chemistry problems using appropriate data methods and tools. Plan, organize and carry out experimental research in chemistry using modern equipment, competently process their results and draw sound conclusions.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the theoretical basics of analytical chemistry 2. Know the basics of electrochemical methods of analysis 3. Know the basics of spectroscopic methods of analysis 4. Be able to calculate equilibria in homogeneous and heterogeneous systems. 5. Know ways to eliminate the effects of foreign ions; 6. Have the basics of inorganic, physical, organic and biological chemistry.
Course content
"Microanalytical systems and sensors" - the science how to obtaine, investigate and apply for the analysis micro- and nanoscale analytical systems. The main attention will be paid to the application of micro- and nanoanalytical systems in the analysis of real objects, their advantages and disadvantages in comparison with classical methods of analysis, prospects for the development of chemical sensors and micro (nano) analytical systems.

Assessment methods and criteria
The results of students activity are evaluated on a 100 - point scale. Modular control includes 2 content modules and a final module (exam). In general for the semester: 2 modular tests; 7 seminars. Maximum grade for the semester: 60 points. Maximum score on the exam: 40 points. Maximum overall score for the course: 100 points.
