Course content
The discipline "Philosophy" belongs to the list of subjects of choice of higher education institutions and is taught in the 2nd semester of the bachelor's degree in the 3rd year of study in preparation for the branch of knowledge "Natural Sciences". The educational discipline "Philosophy" provides an opportunity to involve students in the worldview and methodological culture accumulated by mankind throughout the history of its existence, to show the integral, integrative nature of knowledge about the surrounding world, to emphasize the fundamental importance for each person of his free worldview self-determination, the choice of an active life position. Philosophy is a worldview and at the same time a methodological basis, on the basis of which the assimilation of humanitarian, general education, fundamental and applied disciplines takes place. To a large extent, it is precisely thanks to it that it becomes possible for students' consciousness to go beyond narrowly professional training, to focus on universal human values.
