Learning outcomes
PLO 1. To assess individual academic and professional activity, to build and implement an effective strategy of self-development and professional self-improvement. PLO 2. To demonstrate an adequate level of mastery of national and foreign languages to perform written and spoken communication, namely in the sit-uations of professional and academic communication; to present the results of their studies in these national and foreign languages. To assess and analyze critically vital social, individual and profes-sional issues and offer tactics for their resolution, in difficult and unpredict-able conditions, which require the application of new approaches and fore-casting. Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to consolidate the practical skills and skills of written (oral, if necessary) translation acquired in real conditions during training; to form students' awareness of the professional significance of this knowledge; to demonstrate the specifics of written translation in the conditions of professional activity; to strengthen the desire to systematically renew and improve the acquired knowledge and creatively apply it in practical activities. Translation internship is conducted with the aim of familiarizing students with the labor market in modern conditions, it is designed to activate the ability to work with reference literature, Internet resources and office equipment, the ability to make decisions independently and implement them in translation. The discipline is aimed at the formation and development of the skills of written translation from French into Ukrainian in order to activate the vocabulary and phraseology and use grammatical models.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Getting to know the requirements for the internship: ‘face-to-face’ and ‘re-motely’. Formulation of tasks and volumes of text material for translation. Referencing, annotating, compiling glossaries or corpora. The requirements for drawing up reporting materials for both formats are the same, regardless of the practice base. Consultations with academic advisors, assistance in the processing, analysis and synthesis of scientific information when compiling glossaries or corpora.
Assessment methods and criteria
Methods: individual work and consultations; The maximum score is 100. Assessment criteria: • translation from English into Ukrainian (LO 1.1-1.4, 2.1-2.2, 3) – max. 15 points or referencing and annotation of specialized texts (LO 1.1–1.2, 1.4, 2.1-2.3, 3) – max. 15 points; • compiling a glossary (LO 1.2, 1.4, 2.1-2.2, 3) – max. 15 points; • preparation of a written translation according to established standards (LO 2.1-2.2, 3) – max. 15 points; • preparation of reporting materials on translation practice (LO 2.1-2.2, 3) – max. 15 points; • student's written report, presentation of the report, feedback from the institution where the internship took place (LO 1.2, 3, 4) – max. 40 points;
