Learning outcomes
1. To have the skills of critical thinking, to present their own thoughts in a clear way, to make their arguments. 5. To collect, organize and analyze information on cultural phenomena, events, historical and cultural processes. 6. To identify, verify and summarize information on various contexts of cultural practice, to determine the degree of their relevance using different sources, information, communication tools and visual technologies. 14. To conduct a public discussion and maintain a dialogue on Ukrainian culture with professionals and non-specialists.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Before starting this course, students should know the main stages and characteristics of the historical and cultural process; main socio-philosophical categories and socio-philosophical theories; fundamental methodological strategies in philosophy; the basics of gender psychology and intersex relations. 2. To be able to determine the main determinants of the construction of gender patterns and institutions of gender identity. 3. To have elementary skills of the gender approach both in modern philosophical theory and in other humanitarian sciences, to navigate in various concepts of gender and the main issues of gender theory.
