1. Understand the subject area, ethical and legal principles of professional activity. 7. Understand the history, patterns and stages of development of the subject area of political science, know its values and achievements. 9. To be able to apply political science thinking to solve theoretical and practical problems in the political sphere on the basis of mastering classical and modern political thought. 10. Be able to describe, explain and evaluate political processes and phenomena in different historical, social, cultural and ideological contexts.

Full-time form

To know the main milestones and processes of world history of modern and contemporary times at the level of a course taught to high school students. To be able to navigate the chronology of major historical events and the historical map of the world of the nineteenth and early twenty-first centuries, as well as work with the texts of historical documents and historical research. Possess the skills of: searching for sources and information materials both in the form of printed publications and on the Internet and their analytical processing; systematic presentation of the processed material both orally (reports, speeches, supplements, etc.) and in writing (theses, essays, abstracts, etc.); forming own judgments, comparisons and conclusions.

1. Creation of the Versailles-Washington system of international relations. Italy in the period of fascism. The November Revolution in Germany. The Weimar Republic (1919-1933). The origin, rise to power and domination of National Socialism in Germany. Spain: the path from monarchy through republic to dictatorship (1918-1939). Culture of communication and ethics of negotiation. Styles of negotiation. Great Britain between the two world wars. The United States in the period of “prosperity” (1919-1929). FDR and his “New Deal” in the United States. France between the two world wars. The Second World War (1939-1945) .

The control of knowledge is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1 - 1.2), which is 40% of the total grade and the assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills 2.1-2.2) (communication - 3.1-3.2); (autonomy and responsibility 4.1-4.2), which is 60% of the total grade.
