1. Understand the subject area, ethical and legal principles of professional activity. 7. Understand the history, patterns and stages of development of the subject area of political science, know its values and achievements. 10. Be able to describe, explain and evaluate political processes and phenomena in different historical, social, cultural and ideological contexts.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Before taking this course, students should know the main consequences of the historical development of mankind (at the level of secondary education).
2. Be able to collect and interpret information about cultural phenomena and phenomena, cultural processes and events.
3. Possess basic skills of scientific research and information acquisition; critical attitude to socio-cultural phenomena; use of foreign language professional cultural informative sources.
Course content
The main focus is on showing the specifics of the diversity of cultures as a result of global and local processes on the paths of their historical development and the prospects for finding their productive unity in the context of preserving the cultural diversity of the modern world. In the situation of increasing the role of national culture
and the development of statehood, knowledge of general civilization processes will help students to form a broader horizon of their own worldview and ability to navigate the contemporary cultural reality.

Assessment methods and criteria
The control of knowledge is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1 - 1.3), which is 40% of the total grade and the assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills 2.1-2.4); (communication 3.1-3.3); (autonomy and responsibility 4.1-4.3), which is 60% of the total grade.
