            Course content
        
        
            1 University as a community. Classical University and Basic Science. 2 Etiquette of business communication and academic communication. Presentation of NTSA faculty. 3 Forms of educational activity of a student of the Faculty of Sociology. 4 Search for educational information, reading and work in the library. 5 Scientific work of the Faculty of Sociology. 6 Academic integrity in the work of students. 7 Professional dimensions of the work of a sociologist. 8 The primary sources of classical education. 9 Features of Western European classical education. 10 History of domestic higher education. 11 Universities in the Ukrainian lands and in the Ukrainian diaspora in the XIX - XX centuries. 12 Establishment of St. Vladimir's University in Kyiv. 13 Kyiv University in the late nineteenth - in the first decades of the twentieth century, in the second half of the twentieth - early XXI century.

Preparation of a presentation on sociology for high school students (according to the rules of visual presentation of information) (min - 8, max - 15) 3. Test (min - 13, max - 20) 4. Discussions and additions (min - 3, max - 5) 5. Participation in the discussion (min - 3, max - 5) 6. Execution of independent tasks: preparation of abstracts, presentations, essays (min - 15, max - 25) 7. Test work (min - 6, max - 10). Final assessment: pass-exam.
