Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of scientific-theoretical and practical material academic disciplines taught to students of educational level "Bachelor", in particular "Biophysics", "Human and Animal Physiology", "Molecular Biology", "General and Molecular Genetics". 2. Be able to independently apply knowledge of molecular biology, biochemistry, biophysics, etc. disciplines, perform laboratory and practical work, work with scientific and methodological literature. 3. Have computer skills, materials and equipment used in biological laboratories.
Course content
The discipline is devoted to the study of molecular and cellular mechanisms of action of pharmacological drugs of the main groups and principles pharmacological correction of pathological conditions. Quantitative aspects of ligand interaction with receptors, the main mechanisms of pharmacological action are considered drugs at the level of cells, tissues, organs and organism (pharmacodynamics), patterns of changes in their concentration, metabolic transformations and excretion (pharmacokinetics), features of their influence depending on the human genotype (pharmacogenomics / pharmacogenetics). Particular attention is paid to the close links between clinical pharmacology, pharmaceutical and biotechnology, in particular the formation of the modern branch of pharmaceutical biotechnology, in which the principles of biotechnology are used in the process of creating new drugs
