PRS 7. To understand the main problems of philology and approaches to their solution with application appropriate methods and innovative approaches. PRS 12. To analyze language units, define their interaction and characterize language phenomena and the processes that cause them. PRS 15. To carry out linguistic, literary and special philological analysis of texts of different styles and genres.

Successful completion of the course "Fundamentals of linguistics (synchrony)".
Course content
The aim of the discipline is to acquaint future philologists of Eastern languages with the basics of systematic languages knowledge of historical linguistics as the second component of the basic theory of the chosen specialty; to teach students to apply the knowledge of the basic patterns revealed in historical linguistics.
