            PLO 2. Confidently use state and foreign languages for the implementation of written and oral communication, in particular in professional and scientific situations in state and foreign languages.
PLO 6. Apply knowledge of expressive, emotional, logical means of language and speech technique to achieve the planned pragmatic result and organize successful communication
PLO 7. Analyze, compare and classify different directions and schools in linguistics.

            2.1. Know the basic concepts and categories of media linguistics.
2.2. To be able to analyze media texts of various genres.
2.3. Have elementary skills of media texts` creating.
        
    
            Course content
        
        
            Studying of main concepts and categories of the latest humanitarian paradigm - linguistic imagelogy, linguistic features of image creation in modern mass media, image tactics and strategies, language means of constructing meliorating and pejorative image texts.
