Learning outcomes
PLO 2 Confidently use state and foreign languages for the implementation of written and oral communication, in particular in situations of professional and scientific communication; present research results in national and foreign languages PLO 3. Apply modern methods and technologies for successful and effective implementation of professional activities and ensuring the quality of research in a specific philological field. PLO 9. Characterize the theoretical foundations (concepts, categories, principles, basic concepts, etc.) and applied aspects of chosen philological specialization PLO 14. Create, analyze and edit texts of various styles and genres. PLO 25.2. Knowledge of basic concepts, categories, theories of modern political linguistics, business linguistics and media speechwriting

Prerequisites and co-requisites
2.1. Know the characteristics of language as a resource of social communication. 2.2. To be able to analyze the spheres of social communication from the point of view of linguistic objectivity. 2.3. Have elementary skills of media linguistic text analysis.
Course content
The specifics of business linguistics as a direction of humanitarian knowledge are outlined. The functional resource of business terminology in media texts, genres of business communication in the media is studied. It is motivated by a set of extra- and intralingual factors, correspondence to the tasks of communication in the business sphere and the system of functional and stylistic language units that correlate with these tasks.

Assessment methods and criteria
The credit is based on the results of the student's work throughout the semester and does not include additional assessment measures. The students who scored a total of less than 60 points during the semester must prepare material in the form of writing control works, essays, or, if necessary, write a final test.
