Course content
The fight against human parasitic diseases is an important task in the field of health care. The discipline "Medical Parasitology" covers a wide range of issues related to the diversity of parasites in the human body, their adaptations to the parasitic lifestyle, ways of penetration and migration in the host, measures to prevent parasitic diseases. Particular attention is paid to modern methods of diagnosing parasitic infestations. The discipline is designed to generalize the idea of ​​the peculiarities of the interaction of the main groups of parasitic animals with the host organism; the effect of parasites on the human body and protective reactions of the host organism.
