Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) successful acquisition of language analysis and interpretation skills at all levels of its structure
according to the elementary programs of high school.
2) knowledge of the basics of literary and linguistic terminology according to elementary
high school programs.
3) mastering the skills of analyzing grammatical forms and syntactic constructions, as well as
basic elementary skills of etymological analysis.
Course content
The goal of the discipline is to form students' knowledge of the main provisions of the theory
languages, with the aim of applying them in the analysis of specific linguistic phenomena in the Latin language,
acquisition by students of theoretical knowledge of the basics of Latin grammar and syntax
language, skills of etymological analysis of borrowed words from the Latin language
modern European languages.
