PLO 1. Evaluate one's own educational and scientific professional activity, build and implement an effective strategy of self-development and professional self improvement. PLO 3. Apply modern methods and technologies, in particular information technologies, for the successful and effective implementation of professional activities and quality assurance scientific research in the field of philology (folklore). PLO 16. Use specialized conceptual knowledge of folkloristics to solve complex problems and problems that require updating and integration of knowledge, often in conditions of incomplete or insufficient information and conflicting requirements. PLO 17. To plan, organize, carry out and present research and innovative developments in folkloristics. PLO 18. Present the results of your research to the scientific community scientific publications or speeches at conferences, round tables, seminars, etc.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Before starting the study of this discipline, students must have the necessary professional knowledge of the theory and history of folklore studies, methodological tools for the analysis of oral poetic works, and textological skills that form the basis of a systematic study of folklore. To be able to work with educational and scientific information in the field of folkloristics, to process it, to make generalizations and conclusions regarding the peculiarities of the ethno-verbal heritage of our country, the folklore of ethnic communities of Ukraine; to create a text of a scientific style in a folkloristic discourse, to apply the skills of working with IT gadgets to create texts of various formats. Have basic research skills; comparative analysis, description and evaluation of the value of the folklore product.
Course content
Мета дисципліни – систематизувати, поглибити та закріпити теоретичні знання студентів, що отримані при вивченні дисциплін фахової підготовки магістрів зі спеціалізації «Фольклористика»; формувати готовність магістрів до викладацької діяльності у навчальних закладах вищої освіти на базі одержаних теоретичних та практичних знань з фахових дисциплін; інтегрувати теоретичні знання й практичні вміння і навички; набути досвіду самостійної науково дослідної роботи та опрацювання методики її проведення, розвинути вміння вирішувати конкретні завдання науково-дослідницького характеру; узагальнити матеріал індивідуального наукового дослідження.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Completion of scientific and research practice consists of several stages: I. familiarization - guidance conference, providing master's students with a package of necessary documentation and methodical support for the completion of production practice; II. preparatory – familiarization with the work of the practice base, familiarization with the program and practice tasks; drawing up an individual plan; III. production - implementation of the program of scientific research practice (collection, systematization and generalization of theoretical, methodical and practical material on the topic of individual scientific research, justification of the relevance of scientific research; determination of its methodological foundations, development and justification of specific practical provisions; IV. Final - approval and defense Forms of training: consultations of the scientific supervisor from the department, independent work, scientific seminar-defense of the completed works.
Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level evaluation of the student's independent work - 20% of the total grade, and evaluation of practical training - results (skills, communication, autonomy and responsibility) - 80% of the total grade. Assessment of work and performance of individual tasks: creative and research tasks (popular scientific article, review, digest, etc., report at a scientific conference - 60/100 points. The discipline ends with a differentiated assessment.
