PLO 2. To have deep knowledge of the official (Ukrainian) and foreign languages for the written and oral communication purposes, professional and scientific communication in particular; to present research results in the official (Ukrainian) and foreign languages. PLO 4. To evaluate and critically analyze socially, personally and professionally significant problems and propose ways to solve them in difficult and unpredictable conditions, requiring the use of new approaches and forecasting. PLO 6. To apply knowledge of expressive, emotional, logical means of language and speech technique to achieve planned pragmatic result and organize successful communication. PLO 13. To explain the essence of specific philological issues, author's point of view on them and its justification both to specialists and to the general public, in particular to students.

2.1 To know basic linguistic concepts and terms, functions of language, the concept of genre in linguistics. 2.2. To be able to work analytically with scientific literature, analyze language phenomena, texts. 2.3. To have basic writing skills; knowledge of strategies and tactics for creating modern texts of oral and written communication according to needs and tasks.

The goal of the discipline is to acquaint master's students with a complex of fundamental theoretical issues into the methods of teaching the Ukrainian language in Higher Education Institutions in modern conditions of the development of society and language, as well as to form practical skills on the application of theoretical knowledge in practice.The main concepts and categories in the field of teaching methods of the Ukrainian language in Higher Education Institutions are considered, in particular, it is focused on modern methods, principles and methods of teaching, types of lectures, practical, seminar classes and their structure, the specifics of teaching according to modern programs, types of higher education institution, and we also offer independent self-modeling by students of lecture, practical and seminar classes in accordance with the assigned tasks.

Lecture, independent work, practical classes; Scientific report, analysis/review of texts/works, independent composition of texts, control work - tests with different types of questions.

During the semester, evaluation is carried out in accordance with the types of work and the form of control described in the course program. The semester evaluation forms the intermediate control score.
