PLO 5. Collect, organize and analyze information about cultural phenomena, events and historical and cultural processes.
PLO 9. Analyze the effectiveness of cultural policies, technologies for the implementation of cultural ideas in the context of specific parameters of their implementation.
PLO 17.1. Manage, promote and organize an ethno-cultural event (for the block "Management of Ethno-Cultural Projects").

Prerequisites and co-requisites
• know: the main theoretical and applied aspects of Ukrainian culture; characteristics of its non-verbal and verbal forms of folklore as traditional folk art; the relationship of ethnocultural studies with other humanities.
• be able to work with various sources of educational and scientific information, process it, make generalizations and conclusions; plan and evaluate their own work; use interactive and multimedia tools.
• have basic skills of scientific research, search and processing of educational and scientific information; use of professional informative sources, including foreign language ones; critical attitude to the analyzed phenomena; analysis of traditional culture artifacts.
Course content
The object of study is the phenomena of traditional folk culture of different peoples of the world, and the subject is the interaction of a multilevel system of phenomena of original world cultures in synchrony and diachrony.
Objectives (learning objectives):
• to form a system of knowledge about traditional cultural phenomena of different peoples;
• to outline the paradigm of patterns of traditional cultures of different peoples of the world in the paradigm of modernity and the syntagm "past - future".
• to show the possibilities of applying methods of analyzing the traditional culture of different peoples of the world for ethnocultural research and applied activities of an ethnoculturalist.

Assessment methods and criteria
The final assessment is conducted in the form of an exam:
• the maximum number of points at the exam is 40 points, the minimum number of points (positive grade) that are added to the semester points is 24 points (60% of the maximum number of points allocated for the exam);
• the exam is conducted in the form of a written test: 40 closed- and open-ended questions, which are worth 1 point.
