Complete general secondary education. Up-to-date information regarding the admission requirements and rules for the "International Communications (with mandatory study of two foreign languages)" educational program can be found on the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv Admissions Committee website (https://vstup.knu.ua/rules), in accordance with the University's current admission regulations.

Admission to the educational program is based on the certificate of complete general secondary education.

"Bachelor of International Relations": successful completion of the educational program and passing the final assessment. "Communications Specialist" or "Media Specialist": 1. Completion of the professional internship with a score of at least 75 points. 2. Specialized block of courses and an overall average score of at least 75 (across all courses). 3. Qualifying exam for the "International Communications" educational program with a score of at least 75 points.

PRN1.Know and understand the nature of international relations and regional development, evolution, the state of theoretical studies of international relations and world politics, as well as the nature and sources of state policy in the international arena and the activities of other participants in international relations. PRN2.Know and understand the nature and dynamics of international security, understand the features of its provision at the global, regional and national levels, know the nature and approaches to resolving international and international conflicts.PRN3.Know the nature of international cooperation, the nature of interaction between international actors non-state actors in world politics. PRN. PRN5. Know the nature and mechanisms of international communications. PRN6. Know the nature and nature of the interaction of individual countries and regions at the global, regional and local levels. PRN7. Carry out a description and analysis of the international situation, collect from various sources the necessary information about international and foreign policy events and processes. Analyze and evaluate communication campaigns at the international, state and corporate levels. PRN13. Carry out applied analysis of international relations, foreign policy of Ukraine and other states, international processes and the international situation in accordance with the objectives, prepare information and analytical documents. PRN14. / in a foreign language, in particular, on professional topics of international cooperation, foreign policy, international communications, regional studies, bilateral and multilateral international projects. PRN15. Use modern digital technologies, specialized software, databases and information systems to solve complex specialized tasks in the field of international relations, public communications and / or regional studies. Full-time form

Written and oral exams, tests, differentiated tests, current control, modular tests, essays, "case studies", presentations, other types of work in seminars and independent work, report and defense of the results of internships; protection of term papers, qualification work, etc. During the entire period of study for the OR "Bachelor" each student performs three course work.

Cooperation regarding national and academic mobility for master's students—and the associated transfer of credits—is conducted based on bilateral agreements between the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations (Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv) and higher education institutions in Ukraine and partner countries. The mechanism for implementing national credit mobility is governed by the "Regulation on the Procedure for Exercising the Right to Academic Mobility at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv" (dated May 10, 2023) and the "Regulation on the Procedure for Transferring Learning Outcomes at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv" (dated June 29, 2016).

Mandatory are: industrial and industrial (undergraduate) internships in international economic organizations, government agencies of Ukraine and foreign countries, domestic and foreign companies; Internship "Translation activity: interpretation, translation" (optional, in-service) in the amount of 180 hours at enterprises, organizations and institutions and providing a certificate-characteristics of work in translation or internship in primary positions at the appropriate level.

The content and structure of the program enable graduates to pursue a professional career in the fields of international relations and international communication, and to hold entry-level positions in government bodies at various levels, international organizations (both governmental and non-governmental), commercial entities, civil society organizations, and research institutions.

A person who has completed this educational and professional program and obtained a bachelor's degree may continue his / her studies at the second level of higher education.
