Procedures for recognition of prior learning outcomes are determined in accordance with the "Regulations on the organization of the educational process at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv" and the "Regulations on the procedure for re-enrollment in the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv".

on the basis of the elective disciplines from the curriculum and professional mastery of the competencies of the elective block with grades not lower than 75 points; completion of all types of practices provided by the curriculum, with grades not lower than 75 points; defense of a master's thesis with a grade of not less than 75 points
Programme learning outcomes
PR01. Apply the acquired theoretical knowledge and practical skills to study natural and socio-territorial systems at different levels of spatial organization. PR02. Evaluate the results of their own work, demonstrate the ability to work in a team. PR03. Communicate freely on professional and scientific issues in a foreign language. PR04. Carry out research and / or innovate in order to gain new knowledge, develop new methods and procedures in geography and interdisciplinary contexts. PR05. Be able to identify, pose and solve scientific and applied problems, to critically evaluate the decisions made. PR06. Apply modern models and information technologies for research and development in the field of geography, nature management, urban and regional development. PR07. Participate in the development of programs and strategies for urban and regional development, planning of territories of different hierarchical levels. PR08. To study the natural and socio-geographical manifestations of the development of geosystems in complex and unpredictable conditions, to predict their development, analyze alternatives, assess risks and likely consequences. PR09. Carry out professional evaluation of programs, strategies and development plans of territories, carry out their geo-ecological and socio-economic expertise and monitoring. PR10. Apply geoinformation technologies, create and study models of natural and socio-geographical manifestations of geosystem development, determine the possibilities and limits of their application. PR11. Assess possible risks, socio-economic and geo-environmental consequences of the implementation of management decisions in the field of nature management, urban and regional development, recreation and tourism. PR12. Plan and perform theoretical and applied research, draw sound conclusions, analyze and present research results. PR13. Carry out scientific and pedagogical activities in higher education institutions, develop the necessary educational and methodological and information support. PR14. To formulate scientific hypotheses, to define actual aspects in fundamental and applied directions of researches, to develop and manage projects in the field of geography, nature management, city and regional development. PR15. Independently assess the key trends in the development of natural and socio-geographical processes for the formation of new areas of research.

Examination regulations and grading scale
The final evaluation of learning outcomes at the University is carried out on a single 100-point scale. The assessment of the applicant corresponds to the ratio of the level of professional and general competencies established in the assessment to the planned learning outcomes (as a percentage). The minimum positive level of assessment is 60 points. According to the results of exams, the results of course and diploma works (projects); according to the results of work in practice, the student is given points on the following scale: "Excellent" 90 - 100%; "Good" 75 - 89%; "Satisfactory" 60 - 74%; "Unsatisfactory" 0 - 59%. If the final exam is not conducted in the disciplines, the results of the applicant's work are evaluated on a scale: "Enrolled" 60 - 100% or "Not enrolled" 0 - 59%.
