Attestation of higher education applicants is carried out in the form of a public defense of a qualification (diploma) work and an attestation exam and ends with the issuance of a document of the established model on awarding him a degree of higher education with the assignment of an educational qualification: Bachelor of Physics and Astronomy under the educational program Optics.
Programme learning outcomes
- To know, understand and be able to apply the basic provisions of general and theoretical physics to establish, analyze, interpret, explain and classify the essence and mechanisms of various physical phenomena and processes to solve complex specialized problems and practical problems in physics and/or astronomy; - To know and understand the physical basis of astronomical phenomena; - To know and understand the experimental foundations of physics; - To be able to apply basic mathematical knowledge used in physics and astronomy; - Possess state and foreign languages ​​at a level sufficient for oral and written professional communication and presentation of the results of one's own research; - Have the basic skills of conducting theoretical and experimental scientific research in the field of optics, laser physics and optoelectronics, which are carried out individually (autonomously) and/or as part of a scientific group; - To understand the connection of optics, laser physics and optoelectronics with other natural and engineering sciences.

Written and oral exams, tests, differentiated tests, presentations, essays, tests, current control, defense of practices, comprehensive exam in physics, defense of bachelor's thesis. Rating scale: Excellent 90-100; Good 75-89; Satisfactory 60-74; Fail 0-59; Passed 60-100; Fail 0-59.

Work placement
Educational practice in the specialty in the 3rd year. Professional practice is a mandatory component of the educational program. The internship takes place at a distance from the theoretical training on the basis of the Faculty of Physics and Research Institutes of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
