Admission was based on the results of the Common Entrance Examination of a foreign language, a Specialty Exam, and an Additional Entrance Examination for persons who have obtained a Bachelor's degree in another specialty. In accordance with the Rules of admission in 2019.

Programme learning outcomes
PLO 1 - Apply analytical research, identify patterns and relationships between factors. PLO 2 - Use the search for documentary and factual information, collect and formalize information for decision support systems, systematize and summarize data, identify key points. PLO 3 - Apply the basic concepts, relationships and nature of information flows and use artificial intelligence systems to extract patterns from the data. PLO 4 - To determine the characteristics of problem situations, to model problem situations, to choose ways, methods and ways of their settlement on the basis of processing of considerable volumes of information. PLO 5 - Apply search and regulatory forecasting; to predict the development of situations of poorly formalized tasks; use expert systems for forecasting, diagnosing and monitoring situations; use information-analytical products of news agencies and methods of data mining for forecasting purposes. PLO 6 - Analyze the consequences of information wars and use methods of protection; to detect negative content in media information messages, to apply methods of information space protection. PLO 7 - Choose hardware and software components for the implementation of a modern information system, develop the architecture of a modern information system for information analytics and impacts. PLO 8 - Identify patterns in large data sets using software packages Data Mining and Text Mining. PLO 9 - Model and analyze the development of social and production systems, identify the main patterns, trends, the relationship between the main components of the use of information technology forecasting and analytical activities. PLO 10 - Carry out a formalized analysis of textual information, identify latent motives, new data from information flows by methods of automatic text analysis. PLO 11 - Create software modules for the implementation of comprehensive research in programming languages for statistical calculations, analysis and presentation of data or using ready-made codes of free software programs for information analysis and implementation of information influences.

Examination regulations and grading scale
The final evaluation of learning outcomes at the University is carried out on a single 100-point scale. The assessment of the applicant corresponds to the ratio established of the level of professional and general competencies to the planned learning outcomes (as a percentage). The minimum positive level of assessment is 60 points. According to the results of exams, according to the results of course and diploma works (projects); based on the results of work in practice, the student is also graded on a 4-point scale: “Excellent”, “Good”, “Satisfactory”, “Unsatisfactory”. If the final exam is not conducted in the disciplines, the results of the applicant’s work are evaluated on a 2-point scale: “Passed” or “Fail”.
