Programme learning outcomes
- Apply basic forms and laws of abstract-logical thinking, basics of logic, norms of the critical approach, basics of the methodology of scientific knowledge, forms and methods of analysis and synthesis; be able to acquire systematic knowledge in the field of computer science, analyze problems in terms of modern scientific paradigms, comprehend and draw sound conclusions from scientific and educational literature and the results of experiments. - Apply methods of teaching, organizing and implementing, stimulating and motivating educational and cognitive activities, understanding of the subject area of computer science; to realize the mastered concepts, concepts, theories and methods in intellectual and practical activity in the field of computer sciences, to comprehend the content and sequence of application of methods of performance of actions, to generalize and systematize results of works. - Apply lexical, grammatical, stylistic features of national and foreign language vocabulary, terminology in the field of computer science, grammatical structures for understanding and producing orally and in writing foreign texts in the professional field; communicate professionally in national and foreign languages, develop documentation in national and foreign languages on information technology systems, products and services, read, understand and apply technical documentation in Ukrainian and foreign languages in professional activities. - Apply teaching methods and techniques, methods of self-education, basics of scientific and research activities, methods of search, collection, analysis and processing of information; evaluate the subject of educational activity, determine the general purpose and specific tasks, choose adequate means to solve them to achieve results, exercise the necessary self-control, use reference books and technical documentation, develop and apply in professional activities creative abilities, organize the workplace, plan work time. - Apply methods, techniques and technologies of information collection from various sources, document content analysis, data analysis and processing; to use technologies and tools of search engines, methods of intellectual analysis of data and texts, to carry out processing, interpretation and generalization of data. - Understand the main stages and stages of the creative process, the role of proper formulation of goals and objectives for their achievement in computer science, human creativity, the mechanism of genesis and development of knowledge, methods of generating ideas, creativity as a universal process of generating unusual ideas; show curiosity, risk-taking, the ability to think, be inspired by new ideas, implement them, ignite others, combine and experiment. - Know the principles of teamwork, team values, the basics of conflict; IT project management methodologies, PMBOK standards, software tools for IT project management; be able to build connections and relationships with people, take into account the point of view of colleagues, understand other people, express confidence in the team, admit own mistakes, avoid and prevent conflicts, restrain personal ambitions; to select and prepare information and tasks for the project team, set goals and formulate tasks for the implementation of projects and programs. - To apply methodical approaches to procedures of preparation and decision-making of organizational and administrative character, the order of behavior in non-standard situations; to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the decision, to weigh and analyze the opportunities and risks of decisions, to assess the effectiveness of decisions.

Examination regulations and grading scale
The final evaluation of learning outcomes at the University is carried out on a single 100-point scale. The assessment of the applicant corresponds to the ratio established of the level of professional and general competencies to the planned learning outcomes (as a percentage). The minimum positive level of assessment is 60 points. According to the results of exams, according to the results of course and diploma works (projects); based on the results of work in practice, the student is also graded on a 4-point scale: “Excellent”, “Good”, “Satisfactory”, “Unsatisfactory”. If the final exam is not conducted in the disciplines, the results of the applicant’s work are evaluated on a 2-point scale: “Passed” or “Fail”.

Graduates can work in government agencies, banking institutions, organizations and enterprises of all forms of ownership of various sectors of the economy in the development and maintenance of information systems; in international, governmental and not-governmental scientific institutions, enterprises, firms, organizations of the IT sector of the economy; in international, governmental and non-governmental organizations and institutions specializing in the provision of information, analytical and consulting services. Graduates can work in the following occupations: database administrator, data administrator, access administrator, system administrator, computer software engineer, software engineer, programmer (database), application programmer, computer application engineer, information technologies specialist, software development and testing specialist, computer program development specialist, etc.
Access to further studies
Access to programmes of the Second (Master) level of the higher education. Has the right to acquire additional qualifications in the adult education system.
