Programme learning outcomes
1. To analyze theoretical and methodological problems of art history and historical science in general; critically evaluate state of the problem and results of the most recent researches. 2. To review, comment and annotate research, popular scientific, educational and publicist texts that apply to history (art history in particular) and archaeology. 3. To develop and implement both historical and interdisciplinary projects, with taking in consideration contemporary methodological approaches. 4. To apply contemporary digital instruments and technologies of search, storage and processing information in professional activities in the field of history and archaeology, including research work and implementation of educational and innovative projects. 5. To plan and do researches in field of history (art history in particular) and archaeology, put forward and check hypotheses, choose research methods, analyze results, base findings. 6. To perform expertise of historical, archaeological, cultural and artistic assets for the purpose of their protection and possible further use. 7. To spread clearly and explicitly knowledge, conclusions and arguments about history (art history in particular) and archaeology to specialists and non-specialists, including students 8. To broaden the base of sources by introducing archival sources, processing museum, gallery and private collections of artworks, taking part in scientific and archaeological expeditions etc. 9. To engage in teaching activities in higher educational institutions using contemporary educational technologies as well as principals and best practices of the European countries. 10. To generalize results of own researches and present them as reports and publications in Ukrainian and foreign languages in compliance with principles of academic integrity and professional ethics Additionally for research focus «Attribution and expertise of historical and cultural values»: 11. To use the acquired knowledge of art history when organizing an exhibition or exposition. 12. To conduct researches on the works of art, to determine their historical, scientific and material value. To apply contemporary methods and approaches to development of curatorial projects.
