Programme learning outcomes
PRN 1. Analyze theoretical and methodological problems of art history and modern historical science in general, critically evaluate the state of the problem and the results of recent research. PRN 2. Review, comment on, and annotate scientific, popular science, educational, and journalistic texts that relate to issues of history (in particular, visual) and archaeology. PRN 3. Develop and implement historical and interdisciplinary projects taking into account modern methodological approaches. PRN 4. Apply modern digital tools and technologies in professional activities in the field of history and archaeology for searching, preserving, and processing information, including for conducting scientific research and implementing educational and innovative projects. PRN 5. Plan and carry out scientific research in the field of history (in particular, visual) and archaeology, put forward and test hypotheses, choose research methods, analyze results, and justify conclusions. PRN 6. To carry out an examination of historical, archaeological, cultural and artistic monuments for the purpose of their protection and possible further use. PRN 7. To clearly and unambiguously convey one's own knowledge, conclusions and arguments on issues of history (in particular, visual) to specialists and non-specialists, in particular to students. PRN 8. To expand the updated source base by introducing archival sources into scientific circulation, processing the funds of museums, galleries and private collections of works of art, participating in scientific and archaeological expeditions, etc. PRN 9. To carry out teaching activities in higher education institutions based on modern educational technologies, as well as the principles and practices of European countries. PRN 10. To summarize the results of one's own scientific research and present them in reports, publications in the state and foreign languages, observing the principles of academic integrity and professional ethics. Additionally for the research direction "Visual Studios": PRN 11.1 Use acquired knowledge in art history when organizing an exhibition or exposition. PRN 12.1 Conduct research work on the study of works of art, determine their historical, scientific and material value. Additionally for the research direction "Exhibition Projects": PRN 11.2 Use acquired knowledge in art history when preparing a creative or curatorial project. PRN 12.2 Apply modern methods and approaches to creating curatorial projects in practice.
