Upon successful completion of the final assessment, the graduate receives the standard documents certifying the award of a bachelor degree in philology, with the educational qualification of bachelor of arts in philology, specializing in crimean tatar language and literature.

Communicate fluently on professional matters with specialists and non-specialists in the national and foreign languages, both orally and in writing, and use these skills to facilitate effective intercultural communication. LO2. Work effectively with information: select necessary information from various sources, including professional literature and electronic databases; critically analyze and interpret it; organize, classify, and systematize it. LO3. Organize one’s own learning and self-education. LO4. Understand the fundamental principles of human existence, nature, and society. LO5. Collaborate with colleagues, representatives of other cultures and religions, and people with different political views, etc. LO6. Use information and communication technologies to solve complex specialized tasks and problems in professional practice. LO7. Understand the main problems of philology and approaches to solving them using appropriate methods and innovative approaches. LO 8. Know and understand the language system, the general characteristics of literature as the art of the word, the history of the Crimean Tatar language and literature, and be able to apply this knowledge in professional practice. LO 9. Characterize the dialectal and social varieties of the Crimean Tatar language and describe the sociolinguistic situation. LO 10. Know the norms of the literary language and be able to apply them in practical situations. LО 11. Know the principles, techniques, and methods for creating oral and written texts of various genres and styles in the state language, Crimean Tatar, and English. LO 12. Analyze linguistic units, determine their interaction, and characterize the linguistic phenomena and processes that determine them. LO 13. Analyze and interpret works of Ukrainian and foreign fiction and oral folk art, determine their specific characteristics and place within the broader Turkic literary tradition

Examination regulations and grading scale
The assessment system includes ongoing, modular, and final assessments. Ongoing assessments are conducted through quizzes, tests, reviews of independent work, and presentations. Modular assessments are conducted after completing sections of the curriculum (content modules). The final semester assessment (quiz or exam) takes place according to the schedule; its format and criteria are specified in the syllabus and announced at the beginning of the course. The final evaluation consists of a comprehensive exam and the defense of the bachelor’s thesis. The grading regulations stipulate that the passing scores for ongoing assessments range from 40 to 60 points. Final exam scores range from 24 to 40 points. The minimum passing score for a credit is 60 total points.

Under the EU’s Erasmus+ program, based on bilateral agreements between Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and educational institutions in partner countries.
Work placement
1. Internship sites, in accordance with signed bilateral agreements: V.I. Vernadsky Taurida National University; the non-governmental organization “Wikimedia Ukraine”; “Crimean News Agency” LLC; Public Association “Institute for the Development of the Crimean Tatar Language”; LLC “Master of Books,” etc. 2. The curriculum requires students to complete a communicative (work-based) internship in the eighth semester as a mandatory component of the educational program, separate from theoretical studies 3. Students who are unable to begin their translation internship on time due to illness or other objective factors are granted the right to reschedule it without interrupting their studies.
