Graduates who have successfully defended their qualifying project and passed a comprehensive examination are issued a standard form document which certifies they have been conferred the educational qualification: the degree of Master of Journalism.
Programme learning outcomes
PLO-1. To analyze and summarize research findings, draw conclusions on the patterns of media product functioning in the digital environment. PLO-2. To plan social communication research commissioned by stakeholders who demonstrate interest in accurate, comprehensive and up-to-date information about digital media. PLO-3. To write a review of a research article and/or an innovative project on digital media. PLO-4. To use foreign languages to promote and enhance their research and/or innovation work to attract a larger audience to their projects as well as to attract foreign investments for the implementation of startups in the sphere of digital media. PLO-5. To develop a ‘roadmap’ (DX) for solving the identified problem. PLO-6. To draw conclusions about the effectiveness of research in the sphere of digital media taking into account its interdisciplinary nature, volatility of results and practical value. PLO-7. To schedule the time required to conduct research or develop an innovative project utilizing modern flexible techniques of managing projects in the digital environment. PLO-8. To identify problem areas in the activities of modern media organizations which use multimedia/interactive technologies in the digital environment to a limited extent or incorrectly. PLO-9. To demonstrate the ability to find contractors for research or development of innovative projects in the digital media sphere, to attract investments to launch their digital startups. PLO-10.To apply specialized conceptual expertise in social communications when planning a research work or developing an innovative project that is implemented in the digital media environment with the use of multimedia / interactive technologies. PLO-11. To assess problem areas of professional activities applying knowledge from a variety of subject areas including knowledge of project management, media design, content marketing, data visualization. PLO-12. To search for the knowledge necessary to plan activities in the sphere of digital media, including the knowledge that requires automated processing of search results. PLO-13. To conduct audience surveys within the planned scientific research using online tools and technologies, automated means of processing extensive data. PLO-14. To write a research article based on the results of the research in the sphere of digital media, present research findings to the general public. PLO-15. To draw conclusions about the incompleteness of the research and the application of new approaches in the field of digital media, propose suggestions for future research. PLO-16. To write a report on the work of the media team outlining proposals for improving professional activities when implementing digital media projects. formalize it and present it to the general public. PLO-17. To do a self-analysis through writing a report on their research and/or implementation activities in the field of digital media.

Occupational profiles of graduates
Graduates can work in the following positions: a media project manager, content manager, content editor, digital media journalist, UI/UX-designer, SEO and SMM-specialist; on TV: a motion designer, media designer, SMM-specialist etc.; at institutions and organizations of state or private form of ownership: an administrator, moderator, content editor of an internet resource, SMM-specialist etc.; in online media, information agencies, editorial offices of newspapers and magazines, media departments of an organization. Professional qualification "Multimedia Editor" may be conferred on a graduate if compliance requirements have been satisfied.
