Graduates who have successfully defended their qualifying project and passed a comprehensive examination are issued a standard form document which certifies they have been conferred the educational qualification: the degree of Master of Journalism. To be awarded the professional qualification “Multimedia Journalist”, a student must receive at least 75 points from the courses CC5, CC7, CC11, CC12 and a comprehensive examination in theory and history of travel journalism.
Programme learning outcomes
Program Learning Outcomes (determined by the Standard) PLO-1. To analyse and summarize research findings, draw conclusions on the patterns and trends of the formation and creation of travel media space. PLO-2. To plan social communication research commissioned by specialized institutions that operate in the tourism industry. PLO-3. To write a review of a research article and/or an innovative project on travel issues. PLO-4. To use foreign languages to promote and enhance their research and/or innovation work. PLO-5. To develop a ‘roadmap’ for solving the identified problem. PLO-6. To draw conclusions about the effectiveness of the research conducted in the field of tourism. PLO-7. To schedule the time required to conduct research or develop an innovative project in the field of tourism. PLO-8. To identify problem areas in the activities of modern media organizations communicating tourism issues. PLO-9.
