Graduates who have successfully defended their qualifying project and passed a comprehensive examination are issued a standard form document which certifies they have been conferred the educational qualification: the degree of Master of Journalism. Graduates may be awarded the professional qualifications "Multimedia Journalist", "Junior Researcher" by the decision of the examination board.
Programme learning outcomes
PLO-1. To analyze and summarize research findings, draw conclusions. PLO-2. To plan strategic communication research commissioned by specialized institutions. PLO-3. To write a review of a new innovative product and/or an innovative project PLO-4. To use foreign languages to promote and enhance their strategic work. PLO-5. To develop a ‘roadmap’ for solving the identified problem. PLO-6. To draw conclusions about the effectiveness of the research. PLO-7. To schedule the time required to conduct research or develop a strategic project. PLO-8. To identify problem areas in the professional activities applying knowledge from a variety of subject areas. PLO-9. To demonstrate the ability to find contractors for research or development of strategic projects. PLO-10.To apply specialized conceptual expertise in social communications when planning research and/or promoting strategic communication concepts. PLO-11. To assess professional problem areas applying knowledge from a variety of subject areas to enhance strategic communications. PLO-12. To search for the knowledge necessary to plan scientific work in the field of strategic communications. PLO-13. To conduct audience surveys within the planned scientific research. PLO-14. To write a research article based on the results of the research of the strategic communication segments. PLO-15. To draw conclusions about the incompleteness of the research and the application of new approaches when conducting scientific analysis in the field of strategic communications. PLO-16. To write a report on the work of the media team outlining proposals for improving professional activities of strategic analysts and media experts. PLO-17. To do a self-analysis through writing a report on their research in the field of strategic and media communications.

Written and oral examinations, tests, differentiated tests, presentations, projects, a comprehensive qualifying examination, defence of the master's qualifying research project.

Work placement
Professional qualification internship (professional qualification "Researcher") - 3rd semester, October-December, 10 weeks. Pre-diploma internship - 4th semester, January-March, 9 weeks.
