Complete General Secondary Education: Certificate of the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment in competitive subjects.
Qualification requirements and regulations, including graduation requirements
Qualifying examination of the undergraduates of the educational program includes the defence of a qualifying research-creation paper. Undergraduates who have successfully defended their qualifying paper are issued a standard form document which certifies they have been conferred the educational qualification: the degree of Bachelor of Journalism.

Examination regulations and grading scale
Oral and written examinations, tests, differentiated tests, defences of introductory, on-the-job training, pre-diploma internship, defence of a minimum set of practical journalistic works, defence of a qualifying paper.

National Credit Mobility - standard national application. International Credit Mobility - on the general basis.
Work placement
Internship - 2 year, 3 semester, November-December, 4 weeks.
On-the-Job Training - 2 year, 4 semester, April-May, 8 weeks; 3 year, 6 semester, January-March, 6 weeks.
Pre-diploma internship - 4 year, 8 semester, March-April, 4 weeks.

Undergraduates of the specialty "Journalism" can work in media (print, audiovisual, electronic, online), information and analytical centers, press services of enterprises, political parties, public organizations, as journalists, commentators, correspondents, columnists, photojournalists, editors, press secretaries, etc.
