Certification on the basis of the qualification exam and defense of qualification work and blocks of disciplines "Theoretical culturology" or "Ukrainian culture".
Programme learning outcomes
1. to understand the specifics and features of the implementation of cultural ideas, images, and meanings, as well as to critically evaluate the possibilities of their interpretation to solve important problems for a society. 2. to analyze textual and visual sources of information about cultural phenomena and processes; to verify information according to professional objectives. 3. to analyze cultural rights and human freedoms, forms and mechanisms of their identification, inculturation, cultural adaptation, taking into account their regional specifics. 4. to popularize the profession of culturologist, adhering to ethical principles. 5. to organize and maintain communication with the authorities, research institutions, information and analytical services, mass media about the culture. 6. to communicate fluently in official and foreign languages orally and in writing to discuss professional issues, presentation of research results and projects. 7. to evaluate historical achievements and the latest achievements in cultural studies 8. to make effective decisions to solve complex tasks and practical problems of cultural development of society. 9. to organize and manage the activities of cultural institutions and appropriate departments of enterprises and institutions. 10. to have decision making skills in management of cultural institutions or appropriate departments in unforeseen work and / or learning contexts. 11. to have professional development skills of individuals and groups in the field of culture. 12. to collect, analyze and evaluate empirical facts and interpret them in according to modern theoretical ideas of the relevant field of cultural studies. 13. to plan and carry out scientific and applied research in the field of cultural studies, to generate and test hypotheses, to collect evidence and argue conclusions. 14. to work out educational and methodical support and to teach educational courses on cultural studies in educational institutions.

Examination is carried out in accordance with the content of the work program of the discipline. Rating scale: "Excellent" - 90-100; "Good" - 75-89; "Satisfactory" - 60-74; "Fail" - 0-59. Attestation is carried out in the form of a qualifying exam in culturology and public defense of qualifying work

Work placement
Interdisciplinarity of the program - integration of cultural, philosophical knowledge, knowledge in the field of public administration, social and behavioral sciences. Assistant practice in higher education institutions last 4 weeks and research practice in cultural organizations last 4 weeks
